The last two rough nights and the final day on January 6th

The last two rough nights and the final day on January 6th - FindeDeinYoga.org

In our blog series on the topic of Rough Nights, two Rough Nights and the final day on Epiphany of the New Year are still open. What are these nights about and what rituals can we perform to prepare for the coming year?

The eleventh and penultimate rough night of The 3rd of January 4th symbolizes November and the focus is on the topics of letting go and saying goodbye . It's about dealing with death and the big questions of life. Think about why you are here, what you want to bring to this earth, what your goal in life is and what your meaning in life is. Because you can achieve a lot if you live from your center.

Trust life and let go.

For example, ask yourself:

  • What's the meaning of my life?
  • Why I'm here?
  • What do I want to bring to earth?
  • What is finally over and now wants to be let go?
  • What goals do I have?
  • What is important to me in life?

The twelfth and final Rauhnacht from January 4th to 5th is also called the Night of Miracles. It stands for the coming December and serves as a final conclusion to what may not have gone so well in the past rough nights. Write all these things down and burn them.

You can also meditate again and imagine a powerful violet ray of light that banishes and dissolves everything negative.

The main message of this last night is: Accept your path with gratitude.

Tonight you can ask yourself:

  • What else needs to be cleaned up?
  • What miracle is supposed to happen?
  • Which path will I take in the new year?

On Epiphany Night from January 5th to 6th, the Three Wise Men arrive at the Christ child and bless him. On this day, you too should look back on your past rough nights and bless your life. Light a candle and carefully read your notes from the last 12 days and nights again. Pay attention to what inspiration has been given to you for the new year.

Ask yourself again:

  • What messages emerged for you?
  • What new insights are you taking with you into the new year?

On January 6th the gates to the Otherworld will close again and we are ready to start a new year.

Ritual for your rough nights: yoga and meditation

Maybe you've already noticed: We've repeatedly suggested that you meditate during the rough nights. Because inner peace and clarity are essential components of rough nights. Meditations or yoga sessions can help get you in the right mood. Consciously take time for yourself.

For example, light a candle every evening and sit comfortably. Now breathe in and out calmly twelve times, once for each month. After December, close your eyes for a few minutes and feel within yourself. Then look at the candle again and start the whole thing again. Feel how the light of the candle is reflected inside you. Take the light into your chest and your heart and perceive it consciously. Maintain this focus even after you have finished the ritual and extinguished the candle.

If you would like to connect with nature, you can also move your meditation outside, for example to the forest, or try a walking meditation.
