The Yoga Center
A center is the middle where something is very strong or very common. In this sense, the Yoga Center wants to be a place where people who practice yoga meet. Courses and individual lessons take place here. The focus is on the yoga path - in many facets. The people who move around this center are very different: old and young, men and women, skeptical and enthusiastic, health-conscious and spiritual, ...
In India, yoga is considered a path to one's own essence and includes much more than the physical exercises common in Europe. That's why, in addition to the yoga courses, the Yoga Center also offers other offers to help you get to your core. What all events have in common is that the person and life path of the participants are respected and that our encounters should be enjoyable.
We look forward to receiving inquiries and contacts from teachers, practitioners and the curious!
In addition to the joy that yoga brings, our way of teaching supports a happy, balanced life and thus makes you want to shape your life and your own environment.
It can also help you get through times when you are having a hard time with yourself and/or the world. Practicing awakens your spirits and reminds you of your own strength and wisdom. This is the reason why we are recognized as an official internship center for social sciences at the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences.
The yoga class
At the Yoga Center we teach Hatha Yoga, i.e. body-oriented yoga (in contrast to, for example, the purely philosophical Jnana Yoga). Hatha Yoga is divided into hundreds of different schools; we are guided by the tradition of Luna Yoga. This means that the exercises are both based on ancient Indian traditions and are instructed in such a way that they meet the needs of today's Europeans. The practice is gentle and mindful and thereby promotes strength, concentration and mobility.
Our courses include men and women, school students and pensioners, fat and thin people, athletes and those traumatized by school sports. The fascinating thing about the exercises is that each person can find the aspect that suits them so that practicing is fun.
