Description Yoga Retreat
Modern Dance – Contemporary Dance
Dance is about the joy of movement and that will be the focus of this class. We start with a warm-up phase on the court and diagonals, which we then put together into a longer combination.
We will work on the technique, style and philosophy of a Limón class.
This includes the principles of falling and rising: yielding to and resisting gravity, the application of weight, lightness, and movements that are sequential and isolated from each other, and rising again.
Limón teaches the use of space, music and communication, giving the dancer an intelligent body and the ability to communicate thoughts, whether emotional or not.
As a dance teacher, Jörg Wenzel aims to impart well-founded knowledge and technical vocabulary - and thereby a greater awareness of one's own body and a better understanding of dance.

Jörg Wenzel's teaching style is dynamic and powerful
Yoga style based on Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa,
in which the outer dance of movement with the inner dance of sensing
and breathing is connected so that the flow is as uniform as possible.
The yoga classes are energetic and physically challenging in their asana practice - as well as incredibly beguiling and relaxing through the study of philosophy, breathing exercises, meditation and singing.
The yoga lessons are accompanied and accompanied by music from a wide variety of genres.
