Tokens explained: Attention and interactions with visitors
Why do tokens exist?
Many yoga studios want to be found via findedeinyoga.org. At the same time, we want to ensure that all providers have a fair chance of visibility . That's why we use a system with so-called tokens.
The simple explanation of tokens on findedeinyoga.org
Think of tokens as an attention budget for your profile . The more complete your entry in the portal is, the more tokens you receive from the outset.
Tokens are consumed when visitors interact with your profile. For example, when someone opens your details page, clicks on your website, views your phone number, calls you through the portal , or sends an inquiry. These interactions indicate that your profile is popular with visitors and is receiving attention.
How does this affect the search?
The number of your initial tokens corresponds to the number of points your listing has accumulated for completeness and ratings. For example, if a listing has 118 points (85 points for completeness plus 33 points for ratings), it receives 118 tokens.
Your current token balance can be viewed at any time in your entry tile on the search page:
When tokens are consumed, this score is reduced according to the list in the table below. This may also allow other providers to temporarily appear higher in the rankings. This ensures a fair distribution of visibility on the platform.
Your search ranking is based on your listing's score. This score is determined by a combination of completeness, ratings, premium status, and bonus points.

When will I receive new tokens?
At the beginning of each quarter, your profile automatically receives new tokens. Any unused tokens from the previous period expire.
You can book a premium upgrade on our platform at any time for unlimited tokens.
Your advantage with a fully completed profile
The quality of search engine listings should continue to be ensured. Therefore, Yoga listings with over 60 points (i.e., well-completed listings) can only be reduced to a maximum of 60 points through token consumption.
This ensures that completed yoga offers, where at least one image has been uploaded, continue to be displayed first for visitors.
Entries below 60 points are exempt from this rule and can even drop below 0.
You will receive an automated notification once 50% of your tokens have been used.
Yoga studio operators should be informed about their current token usage. Therefore, we will send you an email as soon as 50% of the tokens have been used up.
There we list the tokens used and provide an overview of the most important statistics.
Yoga listings with a completeness score below 60 will be encouraged to improve their information. This will result in a higher initial ranking on the search page and more tokens.
Unlimited tokens with premium
Tokens and token consumption only affect basic listings. Premium listings therefore have unlimited tokens and are not affected by changes in the search page order.
