    The Akademie am Meer, Klappholttal Adult Education Center, is located between the North Sea resorts of List and Kampen on the North Sea island of Sylt.
    There are several ways to get to the island:
    By ferry from the port of Havneby on the Danish island of Römö to List, by car by car train from Niebüll on the mainland over the Hindenburgdamm to Westerland.
    By train to Westerland train station or by plane to Westerland Airport.

    Klappholttal can also be reached by bus or taxi from Westerland train station.

    By car: The Niebüll terminal is easy to reach via the A7 and A23.
