​Classes are all-level, and no prior Yoga experience is needed, although we do encourage you to take a few introductory classes before your retreat. All offers are optional. Just choose what suits you best to re-connect to yourself and like-minded beings.

Welcome to THE EGG OF LIFE YOGA AND RE-CONNECTING RETREAT – a carefully curated experience at my favorite place on this little planet: The sea, mountains and healing soil of Ikaria island.
Splendid sea and mountain views, the turquoise sparkling clear water, the intoxicating smell of Greek herbs, the vibrant stillness in the Yoga Shala and the basic living of the locals… All of it keeps reminding me how everything is connected and intertwined. The island draws me into my practice, my practice draws me into the island.
This is what I'm sharing with you. Deep breaths. Wild nature. The healing hot springs. The hike to the top of the mountain. Sand under our feet. Delicious food. Moments of awesome. Yoga – not just postures and poses, but a practice that permeates the whole life, every breath, every instant.
Together we take a break. We savor the present moment. We appreciate the vastness and the voidness of being. We share a few steps on our random walk through life, re-connecting what belongs together.

What you eat:
Organic, vegetarian food
We only serve organic and vegetarian lunch buffets throughout the week. Our chef Stamatia is a local Ikarian woman who will spoil you at THE EGG. Breakfast buffets are served at the hotel next door (not at THE EGG).
Please note that you can only take snacks for dinner at the hotel (toasts, salads, sandwiches). If you like to enjoy more variety for dinner, the next village with plenty of Greek Tavernas is located 15 minutes walking distance or 2 minutes by car/scooter from the Hotel and THE EGG.
