This retreat offers you the opposite:
A space to pause, breathe, and let go. A gentle transition from your head back into your body.
Yin Escape is your conscious break at the end of the year – an invitation to slow down, to feel yourself and to connect with what really matters.
Here's what you can expect:
A nourishing interplay of silence, nature, yin, and self-care. Gentle rituals, deep peace and community in a light and loving way.
‍♀️ Yin Yoga & Slow Flow
Slowing-down Yin sessions and breathing exercises
A gently flowing slow flow for warming up and arriving.
A space for reflection, rest, and contemplation.
✨ Cocoa ceremony & mantra singing
A soothing cacao ceremony opens the heart, accompanied by the singing of simple mantras – connecting, light, healing.
Journaling & Reflection
Inspiration for reviewing the past year, letting go, and setting the course for the new year. Gentle, without pressure – just you and yourself.
Campfire romance
Sitting together around the fire, sharing stories, singing, being silent, enjoying the moment. A moment of true connection.
A walk in silence
A guided walking meditation through the Harz Mountains – to consciously hear the silence again.
‍♀️ Sauna & massages (optional and bookable directly in the house for a fee)
For resting, warming up and feeling good. Perfect after a Yin session or a silent walk.

About Us: Hi, I'm Melanie, a mother of two, yoga teacher, podcaster, and spiritual guide for the dying and those on their journey. On my search for myself and my inner voice, yoga has become increasingly important to me.

During my parental leave, I completed two yoga teacher trainings and also discovered playing the harmonium and chanting, which has become a great passion.

The magic of mantras is indescribable to me, and it's my heartfelt desire to share it with others and touch their lives. You can find more information about me here.

All bus connections to Elbingerode can be found at www.insa.de (the Medical Center bus stop is very close – about 200m; however, on Saturdays and Sundays, only the Market stop is served – about a 15-minute walk).

In Elbingerode, drive towards the Waldgasthof Hirschbrunnen (Hirschbrunnen Forest Inn), past the Mutterhaus (Mother House), and you will find us on the left-hand side.
