Description yoga
1. What does KAMAH stand for?
The name Kamah comes from the ancient Indian Sanskrit and means love and deep devotion to something. It represents the lucky combination of Eastern mysteries with the clarity of the Western world. The logo with the opened lotus flower is a symbol of inner beauty and peace.
2. Information about production and quality
Kamah carries the certificate: Ökotex Standard 100.
In the 2008 collection, great importance was placed on the processing of natural, high-quality cotton with elastane. The 2009/2010 collection presents styles made of bamboo and cotton, which offer a lot of freedom of movement thanks to the elastane content.
As a renewable, natural raw material, bamboo has the advantage that it is in no way inferior to polyester microfiber in terms of moisture transport. Bamboo is also very well tolerated by allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin.
In order to guarantee optimal quality and ensure the idea of sustainability, KAMAH consciously chooses to produce in small companies where careful workmanship and quality according to the Ökotex standard are ensured.

3. Charity
KAMAH supports a monastery school for Tibetan refugee children in southern India: for every style sold, 1 euro is transferred to KAMAH's Tibet account.
