Description yoga
Nuad or Thai Yoga is also referred to as passive yoga, in the sense that the practitioner provides yoga to the client as a service. Interestingly, in its country of origin, Thai Yoga is also jokingly referred to as 'Yoga for lazy people'.
During a Thai Yoga session, the whole person is treated with empathy and touched with care. Physically along the entire body and mentally or energetically through the special attention and care of the practitioner during his actions and work. Through this intensive combination, Thai Yoga is a powerful means of achieving and maintaining health. The training focuses on developing the necessary mindset of the practitioner through special yoga exercises and meditations.
The holistic treatment sequence of a Thai Yoga session achieves a profound relaxation of the recipient as well as an energetic balance in the entire organism. Nuad fundamentally improves the client's physical well-being and body awareness.
The basic course (40 teaching units spread over 2 weekends) allows for the completion of a full body sequence.
No specific prior knowledge is required for this course. However, yoga experience, curiosity, and enjoyment of working and doing things with other people are advantageous.
