Description yoga
The specialist training is seen as basic training for yoga therapists. Its goal is to qualify people to work therapeutically with Kundalini Yoga. Her basic attitude is shaped by the knowledge that every person has all the resources within them to develop as a healthy, creative personality. With mindfulness and respect, in yoga therapy we create conditions in which body, soul and consciousness can heal and grow equally.
We understand the therapeutic application of Kundalini Yoga to be both preventative and therapeutic. We teach psychological aspects just as well as physical ones. We train prospective yoga therapists to respond individually to the needs of their clients and to work with them therapeutically. Therapeutic work with groups that share a common theme or diagnosis is another part of the specialist training.
Yogi Bhajan left behind a wealth of knowledge and healing methods - we convey this as a practical tool and research its therapeutic effectiveness. Penetrating Kriyas and meditations and imparting deeper knowledge about the subtle effects is a central concern for us. Yoga therapy is an ideal answer to the complex challenges of our time.
The training participants are enabled to work therapeutically with the tools of yoga both in an individual setting and in groups. All yoga teachers will be able to design their own lessons in a more differentiated and well-founded manner by deepening their yogic knowledge and through their expanded advisory skills.
