Certified Yoga Nidra training: Starts on the 20th/21st. April 2024

Yoga Nidra is also known as the yogi's sleep.

Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation exercise whose effects go beyond the usual idea of relaxation.

It is a state in which one remains fully aware of one's surroundings while at the same time entering a deep and desired "sleep state" - that is, one "sleeps" consciously.

Physical, mental and spiritual activities come to rest.

This means that Yoga Nidra shows the way to achieve the state of “yoga citta-vritti nirodaha” – the calming of the movements of the mind, the natural state of the human being.

Yoga practice or experience is not a prerequisite for the training!

This certified Yoga Nidra training includes, among other things:

Yoga Nidra – the meaning and goal of Yoga Nidra and its stages
Yoga philosophy (Patanjali, Sankhya) in relation to Yoga Nidra
Class structure, methodology, instructions in Yoga Nidra
Learning the specific instructions for Yoga Nidra (voice, intonation, rhythm)
Experience the effects of Yoga Nidra yourself under the guidance of the workshop leader
Practically implement and deepen what you have learned so far
Learn how to independently lead (instruct) the steps to Yoga Nidra
Gain confidence in theory and practice for the instructions
Practical and theoretical exam (optionally also without exam and certificate, with confirmation of participation)

This training is based on the original specifications of Swami Satyananda Saraswati and his direct student Swami Prakhasananda, with whom Karin Steiger (your teacher at the Carinthia Yoga School) did the Yoga Nidra training.
