Description Yoga teacher training

Period: From September 14, 2024 - October 12, 2024
Our 300-hour yoga therapy training is aimed at anyone who wants to learn the therapeutic aspects of yoga and achieve a 500-hour master yoga teacher certification from YAI (Yoga Alliance International). Our 4-week intensive course in Greece aims to expand your knowledge in all aspects of yoga. You will learn to understand the most common complaints and their causes and to alleviate them with yoga.
The yoga therapy course focuses on working with the therapeutic aspects of asanas, pranayama, meditation, mantras, mudras and yogic philosophy in conjunction with modern anatomy, physiology and psychology. Assessing the physical and mental health of your patients/clients using various methods is the second pillar of the training. You will also learn some practical bodywork techniques for working with your patients/clients.
Salutogenesis-based yoga therapy promotes holistic health and healing. You will be an active part of your own healing journey - a transformative process led by our experienced instructors.
After completing the training, you will receive a certification from Yoga Alliance International as a 500-hour master yoga teacher (prerequisite: 200-hour yoga teacher certification) as well as a 300-hour yoga therapy certificate from our school.
The lessons take place in English. The course leaders also speak German, Spanish and Italian so that all questions can be answered in these languages.
All course material is provided in this course. If possible, bring your own mat.

  • Our training is structured in...: The training includes 29 days with
    12 modules covering the following areas:
    Basics of yoga philosophy and integrative medicine
    Anamnesis and evaluation of clients using various methods
    Yoga therapy and integrative medicine for various diseases and psychological complaints:
    Asanas, pranayama, meditations, mudras, mantras, bodywork and relaxation methods for therapeutic treatment
    Communication and relationship between patient/client and therapist
    One day per week is free. Participants are expected to spend several hours each day, including their days off, on homework and practice.
    This course is fully accredited by Yoga Alliance International. After completing the course, our graduates can obtain YAI and Alethèia certification from Yoga Alliance International, which enables future graduates to work internationally.
    Participants should attend at least 90% of the course. If participants miss more class time, they must agree with the teachers which modules they will repeat. Alethèia reserves the right to charge additional fees for these catch-up modules.

    Lesbos is located in the archipelago of the northeastern Aegean Islands and is the largest island in the group. Due to its importance, it is very well connected to Athens, where there are several domestic flights daily all year round. If you want to save money, there are good boat connections all year round. The ships also stop in Chios and usually travel north to Thessaloniki.

    Direct flights can usually be booked from some European countries to the island, which has a small but modern international airport. If you can't find a direct flight to Mytilene, you can fly to Athens and from there take another flight to the island.
