With our children's yoga training in Cologne, you will become a children's yoga teacher and open up new paths to mindfulness, body awareness, and joy in life for children and families.
What is children's yoga?
Yoga is a great gift for children. It promotes holistic development, strengthens creativity, body awareness, self-confidence and concentration – all in a playful way.
Children's yoga leads to mindful interaction, awakens the joy of community, and can become a lifelong companion for physical well-being and inner balance. In short: Yoga gives you confidence in a wonderful future!
With our children's yoga training in Cologne, you will learn how to pass all of this on to children yourself – in a well-founded, practical, and heartfelt way.
Contents of the children's yoga training
During the training, you will receive a comprehensive toolbox of methods that will enable you to design children's yoga classes in a creative, lively, and age-appropriate manner. You will learn, among other things:
- Body and relaxation exercises
- Silent exercises and fantasy journeys
- Massage and movement games
- Sensory exercises
- Rituals and songs
You will also receive a detailed script with sample lessons, many practical exercises, and helpful tips for your teaching.
An important part is your own teaching personality: We support you in being authentic, awakening your inner child, and developing your creative power for working with children. Learn yoga in its entirety in a joyful, easy atmosphere.
What is special about our training
- Two experienced trainers: Together we accompany you with decades of experience in yoga, coaching, pedagogy and marketing – with heart, depth and practical relevance.
- More than just yoga exercises: In addition to yoga practice, you will also learn course planning, organization, legal basics, and marketing – so you can get started right after the training.
- Teaching trial with full teaching time: With us, you will lead a full children's yoga class. This gives you confidence, real teaching experience and valuable feedback.
- Parent-child yoga included: An additional module in our training – ideal for getting families excited about yoga together.
After your training, you will be well prepared to start your career as a children's yoga teacher.
Who is the training suitable for?
Our training is aimed at anyone who enjoys working with children and is open to yoga: educators, teachers, pedagogues, parents – or people who want to pursue a new career path.
Previous yoga experience is welcome but not required. Experienced yoga teachers who want to expand their offerings are also welcome.
Your degree
After passing the teaching trial and a short written exam, you will receive your certificate as a children's yoga teacher.

Times: daily from 9am to 6pm with a long break of 120 minutes.

About Us:
Kavita Jeanette Pippon – Children’s yoga with heart, depth and experience
I am a yoga teacher, trainer, and mother, and I have been accompanying people on their yoga journey for over 20 years—including many who want to pass on children's yoga themselves. In my training courses, I combine sound knowledge with intuition, depth, and a great deal of life experience.
Back in the 1990s, I discovered yoga, shamanism, and tantra—a discovery that has made my life colorful and multifaceted. In addition to my work as a yoga teacher, I have completed training in homeopathy, massage, and nature education. My practice has deepened through many stays in India, where I have spent time regularly since 2002.
Since 2005, I have been leading training courses for children’s yoga, youth yoga, and senior yoga. I also offer continuing education courses for yoga teachers throughout Germany and internationally. My heartfelt desire is to give children and young people access to mindfulness, body awareness, and inner strength through yoga – and to encourage adults to accompany them sensitively and competently on this path.

As an experienced children's yoga teacher, systemic coach, and mother, it is my heartfelt desire to provide children and families with a joyful and mindful approach to yoga. In my courses and projects at schools, daycare centers, and in parent-child work, I combine playful ease with sound knowledge and a large portion of practical relevance.
For many years, I have accompanied children on their yoga journey: with imagination, creativity, and a sure sense of the needs of each age group.
During the training, I not only teach the basics of children's yoga and parent-child yoga, but also provide valuable inspiration on how you can successfully design, offer, and establish your own courses and projects over the long term.
With my background in marketing and coaching, I support you in bringing your vision as a children's yoga teacher into the world – authentically, clearly, and with joy.
