Description Yoga teacher training

The 300h Momentum Regeneration Yoga Therapy training combines traditional yoga and Ayurveda with the findings of modern medicine and psychology. We have been training yoga teachers and long-time practitioners since 2009 and accompanying them in their specialization in individually tailored yoga classes for health and regeneration.

  • Our training is structured in...: Modules 1 and 2 focus on the therapeutic possibilities of yoga for musculoskeletal disorders. Modules 3 and 4 turn the focus inward—on breathing, nutrition, movement, and meditation as ways to regulate the body's systems. Modules 5 and 6 open the space for emotions, feelings, and thoughts—for working with the mind. Module 7 concludes the training with an overview, a look ahead, and a short exam.

    Founded in orthopedics, naturopathy, and psychotherapy—and grounded in the conviction that yoga therapy takes the individual seriously in all their complexity.

  • About Us: Günter Niessen is a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery, a physiotherapist, a certified yoga teacher (BDY, Yoga Alliance RYT-500), and a certified yoga therapist (IAYT, Degyt). Over twenty years at the operating table have sharpened his understanding of the body—and revealed the limitations of conventional medicine, which led him to yoga.

    Katharina Lehman is a licensed psychotherapist, a certified yoga teacher, and a certified yoga therapist (Degyt). Her work combines psychotherapeutic understanding with the somatic depth of yoga practice.

    We live and work together in Berlin and across Europe—two perspectives on humanity, one shared goal: to support healing where body, mind, and emotions meet.
