Description yoga
I am Alexandra Petersen, the founder of avandra Yoga. For me, yoga is a source of stability, focus and clarity, especially in challenging life situations. My passion is to pass on these positive experiences and help people find peace and balance. At avandra Yoga I offer a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha Yoga with Vinyasa and Yin elements, children's yoga and parent-child yoga. My teaching is down-to-earth and non-dogmatic, because yoga should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, body or fitness level.
In addition to regular yoga classes, we also offer special workshops and programs, such as the annual Yoga & Fasting Challenge during Lent, basic yoga workshops for adults and the unique Yoga & Wine events in collaboration with the Portuguese wine bar Saudade. Our main target group are beginners who want to approach yoga in a relaxed manner and without pressure, as well as children and parents who want to experience yoga together.

As an experienced children's yoga teacher, systemic coach, and mother, it is my heartfelt desire to provide children and families with a joyful and mindful approach to yoga. In my courses and projects at schools, daycare centers, and parent-child work, I combine playful lightness with in-depth knowledge and a strong dose of practical relevance.
For many years, I have been accompanying children on their yoga journey – with imagination, creativity, and a sure sense of the needs of each age group.
