Description yoga

The word Purna comes from Sanskrit, an ancient Indian scholarly language, and means fullness, all-encompassing or integral.
Sri Aurobindo called his yoga purna yoga, i.e. integral yoga. He was an Indian yogi, poet and philosopher who was the first to succeed in combining the Western worldview/science with the Eastern teachings and philosophies (involution/evolution).
After his complete withdrawal from public life in 1926 to devote himself solely to his writings, Mira Alfassa, also known as 'The Mother', took over the management of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry. She was also the one who later founded Auroville.
Purna Yoga is a life-affirming path.
Purna Yoga or Integral Yoga is not limited to one method or a specific physical exercise program, but rather calls on people to seize all the opportunities and challenges that life offers in order to connect the physical, vital and mental being into a harmonious unity to direct them inwards towards the self, the soul or the divine within man.
The more you come into contact with your soul, the clearer your life direction becomes and you more clearly recognize your own goals and tasks in life. The more consciously you recognize your goals and tasks in life, the more creatively and creatively you can use the power that comes from it for the world around you.
In addition, you experience more peace, satisfaction and fulfillment in the tasks and things in which you act and can share your own joy, love and devotion with other people.
We, the Purna Yoga School, feel deeply touched and connected to the yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, which is reflected in the name of the yoga school.
We try as best we can to pass on Integral Yoga to the participants in order to continue to grow with them.
Yoga courses (beginner-advanced, gentle yoga, yoga for children), workshops and meditation. We also offer individual lessons.
