About Yoga Shaktiram
In a beautiful room I give according to the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar Hatha Yoga. The concept of yoga, yoking to oneself, and hatha, connecting opposites, creates a balance in everyday life. The connection between breath and movement brings the mind into the present. When the flow of energy in the body is consciously experienced, the physical and mental powers unfold from within oneself. The affirmative attitude towards oneself straightens the spine and a peaceful inner state is noticeable.
The 90 minute yoga class begins with:
- The SUN SALUTION for the mobility of the spine and deepening of breathing.
- FOCUS on the practice is a deliberate structure of yoga postures (asanas), which change every class hour.
- The FINAL in the resting position, with guided relaxation.
