“Namaste & Hello!” My name is Angie Appel. I have been practicing Vinyasa Yoga since 2003. After training as a Vinyasa, children's and teen yoga teacher at Balance Yoga Frankfurt in 2011, I teach children and teen yoga at Balance Yoga Frankfurt/Sachsenhausen and give private yoga lessons for 1-3 people. Since August 2013 I have had my own yoga label “Anarchy Yoga” and under this name I regularly give Vinyasa yoga classes in small groups of 3-8 people at the “Corpus Maximus” in Neu-Isenburg.
At the beginning of 2015 I opened Anarchy Yoga Home in Dietzenbach. Here I teach small groups of up to 3 people, give individual lessons by appointment as well as FeetUp® Yoga for up to 2 people, children's and teen yoga.
My yoga classes are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced. In my lessons, I always make sure that each student performs the asanas (yoga positions) as best as possible anatomically and according to their level through careful, non-violent adjustment.
What does Anarchy Yoga actually mean? The focus of anarchy is freedom, self-determination, equality and the self-realization of individuals. The name yoga comes from the Sanskrit “Yuj” and means tying or harnessing draft animals to a wagon. The human senses or the soul is stretched in front of the vehicle, i.e. the human body, in order to achieve self-realization.
Anarchy Yoga stands for individual self-realization, which is why the classes only take place in small groups. There is no contract, only prices for 10 or individual lessons, so everyone can decide for themselves when they have the time and desire to practice yoga.
Above all, it is important to me that the yoga classes are fun and that all participants lie relaxed in Shavasana after a strenuous hour and find peace with a singing bowl massage or yoga nidra. The route is the goal! And you can also laugh and sweat along the way.
