At Iyengar Yoga Hamburg we practice Iyengar® yoga, a particularly precise and mindful form of hatha yoga. Iyengar yoga offers deep knowledge of precise and fine asana technique - suitable for the respective needs of the participants.
We move the body with concentration into an alignment that strengthens or stretches muscles, joints and organs, penetrating deeper and deeper layers with our attention.
Acting and perceiving at the same time strengthens mindfulness and introception. Active tension and precise concentration calm the mind. Relaxation becomes possible.
