Give yourself a week full of lightness, relaxation and self-love.
In the familiar surroundings of your living room, in a week of intensive practice and in exchange with the other participants, you will learn how to bring calm and relaxation into everything you do. A week in which you use the magic of slowness to arrive at yourself. In which you consciously bring the connection to yourself to the fore in order to recharge your batteries. In which you take a new, fresh look at your habits, let go of stressful things, tackle challenging things in an easy way and return to your life strengthened.

Unlike many other home retreats, here you don't just get a bunch of videos that you can watch online (or postpone until later and then forget about).
We meet live in the morning and evening for a refreshing, relaxing yoga practice and also have time to exchange ideas. This way you can bring in your own topics, which I like to incorporate into the yoga classes, and we can inspire each other.

You will receive all exercises and lectures as recordings in HD quality so you can watch and practice again and again. This way you can optimally get in the mood for a new good habit and - if you want - easily continue it.
This way you can repeat the entire retreat again at any time, or incorporate your favorite yoga session into your daily routine.
And if you can't take part in a unit live, you can simply do it later.

Without having to travel, without having to organize arrival and departure, without spending the night in strange beds with snoring roommates ;).
At home, you can combine your own favorite scents and even your music with the units and are not dependent on whether your favorite spot in the studio is still free.

Have I already told you that I love the island of Hiddensee? As soon as I took the ferry there for the first time, the wind was blowing through my hair and the lighthouse appeared on the horizon, it was there: the inner peace. On the island the feeling of being with your feet firmly rooted and your head high above the clouds, completely free and light and bird-like, and yet completely with me and well grounded. I have been able to share this feeling with many people for many years now - in the yoga retreat on the island.
But what remained was the feeling that that couldn't be everything. That afterwards everyone will be absorbed by what they perceive as stressful everyday life more quickly than expected. Wouldn't it be much better to be able to create this space and lightness within yourself, even if life gets in the way with appointments, lockdowns and unpredictability?
I would like to take you to your very own island of peace and quiet, to which you always have access. To your place of power, which is not a physical place, but which lives within you - and in which you can live.
I invite you on a journey to yourself: completely relaxed, completely there, completely you.

***What do you need for the home retreat?
a yoga mat and a blanket
Notebook/writing supplies
Comfortable clothing (sweatpants and a t-shirt are enough. But if you're inspired to get a full yoga outfit from lululemon - don't force yourself. You'll save a lot on travel and accommodation costs ;) )
recommended: soft massage ball, diameter 8cm (e.g. Togu Touchball)
optionally yoga block, strap or belt from the bathrobe
optional: essential oils/favorite scents, favorite music
Since the live calls take place via zoom, you should be registered there (free of charge) and have internet access at the locations where you want to participate live. You can also download the recordings afterwards.

I'm Marita. I teach yoga in a dance-like way and I have a lifelong passion for how cats move: smoothly, effortlessly and elegantly, enjoyably and idiosyncratically, hardly disturbed.
I've been dancing since I was 5 years old and originally studied dance and got a diploma in choreography.
During my dance studies, I threw myself into everything that had to do with yoga and body awareness methods and have been self-employed as a yoga teacher for individual and group coaching and yoga retreats on the island of Hiddensee since 2009.
My yoga lessons are inspired by Strala Yoga, the Feldenkrais method and the dance imagination according to Eric Franklin.
I run a lovingly furnished studio in Dresden.
