Description Yoga teacher training
Being mindful means nothing other than seeing things as they are. Each of us has this ability, but in everyday life we get caught up in hasty judgments, drift into the past or future or get lost in feelings. How can you train your mindfulness? In this training you will learn in particular the main exercises of the MBSR program according to Jon Kabat-Zinn. This mindfulness trainer training enables you to implement mindfulness as an attitude and method in your private and professional everyday life.
Contents of the mindfulness trainer training:
- Experiencing and teaching mindful body awareness (body scan), mindful body work (yoga), mindful sitting (sitting meditation) and walking meditation
- Theory and practice of the following exercises: Mindful eating (raisin exercise), mindfulness in everyday life (breathing space, mindfulness alarm clock, etc.)
- Mindful communication
- Testing and deepening what you have learned in small groups
- Develop self-care and compassion
- Building your own, systematic mindfulness practice
- Development of concepts for conveying what has been learned within the scope of professional activity and for conducting courses for beginners
Requirements for participation: This training is aimed primarily at yoga teachers, exercise leaders, and people in therapeutic and helping professions. Basic knowledge of meditation and yoga or body work is required. Anyone who would like to develop their own stable mindfulness practice with a deeper understanding of the basics is also welcome.
Degree/certificate: The training is designed as a basic qualification for conducting mindfulness courses for yoga teachers, exercise instructors and people in therapeutic and helping professions. Completed with the “Mindfulness Trainer” certificate.
Approx. 60 teaching units. Recognized as educational leave in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Saarland.
