Our children's yoga training, which you can participate in person in Berlin or online, gives you the tools you need to design and conduct the highest quality and most in-depth children's yoga classes possible. We give you the space to develop yourself and feel good. Together we create a positive and supportive group for this unique learning process and enable you to grow on a personal and professional level.
Turiya Yoga is one of the largest providers of children’s yoga in the Berlin area. We have developed our children's yoga training from this broad wealth of experience. It offers our training participants the knowledge and the necessary practical elements to pass on what they have learned and to enrich even more children with children's yoga.
At Turiya Yoga we consider yoga to be a fundamental common good. We want all children to have the opportunity to experience yoga, pranayama and meditation and learn to use them as tools for shaping their own lives. This basic philosophy is an important part of our training.
The Turiya 200-hour children's yoga training in Berlin accompanies participants from the beginning of children's yoga classes through the first year of classes and beyond.
It consists of a basic training and an advanced course. These units can also be booked individually. All courses conclude with the receipt of a certificate. We follow the training and certification guidelines of the Yoga Alliance and are currently in the multi-year process of obtaining Yoga Alliance certification.

Rachel Brooker
BA Dance and Biology, RYT-200 (YA), with over 20 years of teaching and training experience in children's yoga and dance. Rachel Brooker leads our training in collaboration with several guest lecturers. Her interdisciplinary experience as a dance teacher, business mentor and yoga teacher is reflected in her open-minded teaching style. No matter what questions you have, she is your number one contact!

Andrea Helten
Andrea is a trained yoga teacher for adults and children, author and founder of Kinderyoga Berlin. The trained journalist worked for over 15 years as a TV and online editor in the media business before the birth of her daughter in 2006 led her to yoga and ultimately to children's yoga. Her first courses took place in her living room. Andrea now gives both courses and workshops in children's yoga, but mainly in the area of parent-child yoga. Her book “Yoga for you and your child” was published in 2017. Similarly, in 2018, the first parent-child yoga teacher training course was created, in which she happily passes on her many years of experience in teaching families.
Dr. Stella Thielemann
Stella Thielemann is a full-time child
and child psychiatrist and long-time yogi.
Since her training as a children's and youth yoga teacher in 2013, Stella has taught in various daycare centers, schools and institutions. She also likes to incorporate elements from her further training as a relaxation trainer for children and young people at the IEK into her lessons. She supports the Turiya children's yoga training with her medical expertise in the field of anatomy and the neurophysiological development of children.
