Instructions for taking part in the course
In order to ensure a smooth exercise process and to enable you to have relaxing and revitalizing Hatha Yoga hours, we have put together these tips:
Tips before training
The last meal should have been around 2-3 hours ago
If you have acute physical problems, please let us know before the lesson. Confidentiality is a given!
At the start of the course
Mats; Blankets, yoga pillows and other aids are provided by Jacqueline-wasbewegtdich
Wear comfortable clothing, socks or bare feet, jewelry, glasses and watch (safely); If necessary, bring your own cloth or towel.
Please avoid perfume if possible (perception and sensitivity increase through the exercises.)
Please arrive on time (5-10 minutes before class starts)
Please enter the yoga room barefoot (please clean for hygiene reasons) or only with socks
Topic: Peace: Please find peace gradually in the yoga room, preferably on the way there. Please turn off your cell phones during class
Recording images and sound recordings from the premises of Yogastudio jacqueline-wasbewegtdich or during lessons is not permitted without the consent of the course instructor
No consumption of food or drink in the yoga room. Outside water in plastic containers.
How to practice
Perform all exercises in a relaxed and relaxed manner with calm, flowing movements and experience the breath as a supportive companion.
“A yoga posture should be firm and comfortable,” as the ancient yoga scriptures say. Don't tense up or try to orient yourself to your neighbors.
Challenge yourself, but don't overwhelm yourself, respect resistance and pain limits
Yoga is not a competition, everyone practices just for themselves, for their own well-being.
Yoga practice is the participant’s own responsibility.
If an exercise is too difficult, do not force it, but only do it as far as your body allows in a comfortable and healthy way. Sometimes exercise positions are held for longer - if you feel like it's getting too long or you no longer feel comfortable, then get out of the exercise position yourself. It is important to never overtax your body or go beyond your own performance limits. Possibly ask for an alternative yoga position.
Advice for practicing at home
At the beginning of your yoga practice, please only practice the asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) that were taught in class
Please avoid and if necessary consult your (family) doctor
Reversal positions for (possibly) menstrual bleeding, high blood pressure, pressure of the
inner ear and eyes as well as retinal detachment
For acute orthopedic problems
Forward and backward bending for acute intervertebral disc problems and sciatica
Heel seat for varicose veins and other circulatory problems in the legs
Do not hold your breath during pregnancy
