Description yoga
Yoga is fun and just feels good. When children do yoga regularly, they become more flexible and stronger, they are calmer and can concentrate better.
With this children's yoga DVD, learning and practicing at home is now very easy. The well-known children's yoga expert Thomas Bannenberg and the experienced children's yoga teacher Angela Hahnemann have developed 6 series of exercises for children. The rows consist of up to 10 postures (asanas) and vary in difficulty.
The new and special thing about the DVD are the additional, detailed step-by-step instructions for each asana. The children can have the structure of all asanas in the selected series demonstrated and explained to them individually or take part in a complete series of exercises.
Practice each asana individually: Lea, David, Lara, Clara, Alisa and Kasimir demonstrate each asana individually, accompanied by detailed explanations from Thomas Bannenberg. These step-by-step instructions can be selected individually in the menu and repeated as often as you like. At the end of each asana, a still image with a detailed description of the posture is displayed.
Do the series in one go: Each child shows their entire yoga series in their own film, 12 to 16 minutes long. Here too, Thomas Bannenberg explains the structure of the asanas; the holding time is adapted to the respective level of difficulty.
Since the ambience and background music are deliberately kept unobtrusive, the children concentrate fully on the exercises. Soon “speaker off” is pressed and the series is carried out independently.
