Kundalini Yoga according to Yogi Bhajan is the yoga of consciousness, for people of all ages who are in the middle of life. The goal is – if you want to speak of a “goal” at all – the harmonization of body, mind and soul through conscious, mindful breathing. The asanas (postures) and kriyas (exercise series) are at the same time dynamic and meditative, invigorating and relaxing, healing and invigorating. Chanting mantras is also part of it. This has an amplifying effect on the energy flow.
It's about finding your individual path to greater mindfulness, awareness, health, balance and self-development. The exercises are aimed at feeling your own body energy. Your own energy is awakened and blockages are released. This has a strengthening, cleansing and harmonizing effect. The nervous and immune systems are strengthened and more calm and trust arise. Your posture improves and you simply become clearer and more intuitive.
