VINYASA YOGA
Would you like to learn how to calm down, relax and be yourself - without someone constantly demanding something from you? Or do you simply feel like exercising, want to strengthen your muscles, increase your flexibility and relieve tension? Then Vinyasa yoga is just right for you. Vinyasa is a dynamic, powerful and varied yoga style that can sometimes make you sweat. The special thing about this is that the movements and breathing are synchronized with each other. This enables the connection between body and mind and concentration on the moment.
YOGA & ME
I am 28 years old, studied business administration in Cologne and worked as a market researcher and project manager in online retail. In response to the famous quarter-life crisis of Generation Y, I trained as a yoga teacher last year at the renowned yoga studio Lord Vishnu's Couch. What fascinates me about yoga is that it is much more than “just” a sport. It is a living Indian philosophy and contains many ideas for a balanced and fulfilled life. However, yoga is not abstract, but can be experienced directly on one's own body through asana practice (yoga positions). In my courses I want to convey exactly that: how you can find yourself with physical exercises, breathing techniques and meditation - with a lot of fun and without any dogma.
When I'm not on the mat, I work as a freelancer on online trading topics, write for the blog Köln-Kann-Nachhaltig.de, listen to tons of music, enjoy the sunshine and nature, read exciting books about psychology, and search looking for new solutions for outdated systems... or lying in bed with my laptop and watching Netflix for hours.
