Description yoga
Hatha yoga, meditation, pranayama, yoga nidra, yoga for women, men, beginners, advanced and seniors.
The lessons are characterized by detailed and precise instructions and a lot of humor and warmth. We practice in small groups (max. 12 participants). On the one hand, the body is challenged and strengthened, and on the other hand, it experiences deep recovery through the relaxing exercises.
Breathing (prāṇa, प्राण) plays a central role in my teaching. “Give yourself a break,” “take a deep breath” are colloquial expressions that describe the importance of breathing in connection with physical and mental well-being, regardless of any worldview.
With simple yoga exercises we can learn to breathe evenly, finely and calmly. This calms our nervous system. If we can handle our breathing better, we can find more inner peace and concentration. Restlessness can slowly fade and repetitive thoughts can become quiet. It's easier for us to make decisions again. For me, this is the freedom that we can find through yoga. In our time, in which distraction plays a major role, this path is a great help to us. Yoga is a path to our inner peace and to ourselves.
The improved breathing not only relieves tension in the body, it also helps you stand up better. Many postures (āsana, आसन), which also form an essential part of my teaching, serve to promote inner alignment. We can experience stability and strength without tense shoulders, neck, jaw and legs in the postures of yoga.
A short meditation and extensive final relaxation usually round off the hour. For me, mindfulness in dealing with oneself without ambition and yet with effort is just as much a part of yoga practice as the joy of new discoveries.
