After we have devoted ourselves in the previous blog posts to the tradition of the Rauhnächte and the first seven Rauhnächte on the topics of roots, inner voice and opening the heart or ending with the past and being ready for new things , we are now talking about the Rauhnächte eight to ten. Below you will find out which topics are the focus of these nights and which rituals we can carry out.

Rauhnacht number eight from December 31st to January 1st symbolizes the month of August and seals the transition into a new year. This night is characterized by fun and joy of life . We celebrate with our family and friends. But it is also the night of inspiration . Ask yourself whether you go through life mindfully and notice your deepest inner and outer needs. Think about what you need to be able to fulfill yourself and what you want for a new beginning.

Ask yourself:

  • What are my good wishes?

Now the new year has begun and we can fully concentrate on what lies ahead.

In the ninth Rauhnacht from January 1st to 2nd, the focus will be on the topics of blessing and wisdom . This night represents the month of September of the New Year and gives you the opportunity to reflect on your inner center from which peace and strength comes.

For example, ground yourself with meditation and write a gratitude list. Or expand your existing one if you already have one.

Ask yourself:

  • Who or what do I want to give light and blessing to?

The tenth Rauhnacht from January 2nd to 3rd stands for October of the new year and is dedicated to the topics of visions, inspiration and the connection with the divine. This night is about finding clarity in the here and now. Because the future has not yet happened and we have the chance to redesign our lives every day.

This night we begin to design our lives in our minds the way we dream.

Ask yourself:

  • What do I want to spend time doing in my life?
  • How do I use my life energy?
  • How do I want to implement my vision?

Ritual for your rough nights: Keep a dream diary

In the previous two blog posts, two possible rituals for your rough nights were already listed: the classic smoking and the ritual of the 13 wishes. Another Rauhnachts ritual is to keep a diary . Because our subconscious should be particularly accessible during rough nights. So write down everything that comes to mind during these days and nights. Also pay attention to the weather, interpersonal relationships, thoughts or your own dreams. All of this could provide clues about what will happen in the coming year. The best way to do this is to put a small diary next to your bed so that you have it ready to hand in the morning so that you can record your first thoughts and dreams as soon as you wake up.

But be careful: Please don't worry if you ever have a nightmare. This does not mean that misfortune awaits you. Dreams usually reflect what is intensely on our minds at the moment. And the symbol of death in a dream certainly represents upcoming changes.
