Description yoga
Bikram Yoga lasts 90 minutes and consists of a sequence of 26 consecutive positions (asanas) specifically designed to exercise every muscle, bone, joint, gland and organ of the body.
Come prepared
Please do not eat anything for at least 2 hours before class begins.
If necessary for health reasons, you can eat something easily digestible, such as yogurt, an hour before class.
Drink lots of water before you go to yoga. Dizziness, nausea, headaches, sore throats and stiffness are signs of dehydration.
For your yoga class
Do you need:
- Light sports clothing, e.g. E.g. shorts and T-shirt/top
- 2 large towels
- Water (non-carbonated)
- Yoga mat
You can also rent yoga mats and towels from us and buy water.
During class
Please stay in the room until the end of the class, this will build your concentration, determination and discipline.
Be patient and have fun! No cell phones or shoes are allowed in the hot room.
Please don't talk in the hot room!
After class
It is important to drink plenty of water to provide your body with the minerals it needs. After practicing for a while, your body will get used to the process, but especially in the beginning: drink, drink, drink!
After each class we invite you to fresh fruit and tea in the lounge area.
