Description yoga
The yoga center in Stuttgart West
The Stuttgart Yoga Center (Satya Stefan Delfs Yoga School) was founded in 1993 by Dr. Christian Fuchs and I founded it.
The exercise style I teach is based on the yoga system of the two famous, now deceased yoga pioneers, Selvarajan Yesudian and Elisabeth Haich. Both were instrumental in establishing an independent European yoga tradition.
An essential feature of this style, in addition to connecting the postures to the breath, is the work with affirmation formulas and the power of the imagination.
My direct teacher is Rudolf Fuchs, who has been passing on this style of practice at the Stuttgart Yoga School since 1965, but has also included the Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali.
I feel committed to the tradition of these yoga teachers.
To express this, the “Yoga Center Stuttgart” is also nicknamed “Satya Yoga School”. The Sanskrit word “Satya” appears in the Yoga Sutras and can be roughly translated as “truth”. With this naming I would like to point out that authentic yoga, linked to the Yoga Sutras, is taught here in the tradition of the teachers mentioned above.
