yogarausch offers you intensive vinyasa yoga, ashtanga vinyasa yoga and acro yoga in Leipzig Reudnitz.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is considered a strengthening, dynamic and physically intensive yoga style in the tradition of T. krishnamacharya. The focus is on the connection between breathing and movement. You learn to practice independently and develop concentration on your own breathing.
The continuous flow of breath helps you to direct your attention to deeper levels and thus go beyond a purely physical exercise practice. If you manage to notice every breath, then there is no more room for thoughts. At that moment your mind calms down and the opportunity for mindfulness and real awareness arises.
Pattabhi Jois, who significantly influenced this form of yoga, always emphasized: “Ashtanga yoga is suitable for everyone – except for lazy people.” So you don't have to be particularly flexible or strong, it develops itself over time. provided you practice regularly, are patient and stick with it.

Vinyasa yoga is a more creatively open form of teaching yoga. Vinyasa yoga emerged from Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. There are no set series of exercises and, depending on the teacher/class, we sometimes practice with music, sometimes without it. The lessons can be very different: powerful, fast, slow, calm - depending on the topic of the lesson. The topic is often based on an aspect of yoga philosophy (e.g. from the yoga sutra), a physical focus (e.g. hip opener) or learning or better understanding a certain position. Just as important as in Ashtanga yoga is the connection between breath and movement.
While you practice in Ashtanga yoga (Mysore style) and the teacher helps you verbally and with assistance, in Vinyasa yoga (similar to an Ashtanga led class) you are guided by the teacher throughout the entire lesson.
In addition to asanas (physical exercises), we integrate simple pranayamas (breathing exercises), meditation and philosophy into the lessons.
