Description Yoga teacher training

The basic yoga teacher training is based on the framework guidelines of the professional association of yoga teachers in Germany (BDYoga) and corresponds to the minimum content requirements of the 'Prevention Guidelines' of the GKV umbrella association. This enables certification by the Central Prevention Testing Center (ZPP) after successful completion of the advanced level.
My intention is to bring together the ancient tradition of yoga with the latest scientific findings and to convey them in an understandable and comprehensible way. The training combines old and new in a very special way.
In addition to the physical aspects of yoga and the didactics of teaching, other focuses include the psychology of the mind, history & philosophy, breathing & pranayama, voice & voice training for yoga teachers, nutrition, meditation and mindfulness.
The training takes place in a fixed group of at least 6 and max. 16 participants.
Training requirements:
Minimum age of 25 years
At least three years of personal yoga practice
Completed vocational training or university degree
Deeper interest in the content of yoga
Trial lesson with the training manager and personal interview
Examination The training ends with a theoretical and practical exam.
Theoretical exam: The theoretical exam includes a 120-minute written exam in which the knowledge imparted during the training is tested in writing.
Practical exam: The practical exam includes the creation of a 10-week course plan and 3 teaching samples, with the 3rd teaching sample being the practical exam.
Timing of the training
The training takes place over a total of ten weekends in the center for yoga and coaching in Greifswald.
Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m
Cost of training
The training costs total €3200.
Of this, 1,500 euros can be paid down when registering for teacher training. The deposit is payable within 6 weeks of registration. The remaining payment of 1,700 euros is payable no later than 6 weeks before the start of the training.
The total amount must be paid in full two weeks before the start of the training, unless payment in installments has been agreed. This is possible for a small additional charge.
