The requirements of a postnatal yoga class are fundamentally different from a general yoga class. For the time after birth, it is important to accompany the young mother sensitively and professionally. This includes comprehensive knowledge of the changes in the mother's body and psyche and a program tailored to them.
Postnatal yoga is specifically adapted to the special needs after birth.
On a physical level, the recovery processes are supported so that the core of the body is strengthened and toned. It helps you keep a clear head, center yourself, and gain new strength. Postnatal yoga offers a very valuable and healing practice that can be a really good and important support for women.
In the Postnatal Yoga training you will gain in-depth basic knowledge of postnatal yoga and the changes a woman goes through during the recovery period. With regard to the major changes that take place in the body, you will learn more about the influence of hormones and the importance of the pelvic floor, core muscles and adjusted breathing.
You will also learn how women can find their center again through an adapted yoga practice, which asanas support recovery, the optimal adaptation to the respective performance level, and the correct use of aids.
The time after birth means not only physical but also emotional and spiritual rediscovery. You will learn meditation and relaxation techniques to reduce stress, which also have a positive effect on the mother-child bond.
You will learn how to create a harmonious sequence of a postnatal yoga class in which women can be themselves and be free.
The Postnatal Yoga training is suitable for yoga teachers, pregnant women, mothers or participants who are planning a pregnancy and are interested in this topic in advance.
The prenatal yoga training and postnatal yoga training can be booked individually or together.
The Pre- and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training is registered with the Yoga Alliance as continuing education for yoga teachers. So you can get credit for it if you are listed there.
Training costs: 409 €
Including detailed postnatal yoga script in printed form and AYA certificate.
