You will learn in detail about the powerful and widespread mantra meditation in simple form and advanced techniques, how to guide people in their meditation practice. You will gain a wide range of theoretical and practical knowledge about meditation and the spiritual path of yoga, and experience the diversity of mantra meditation and its effects.
As part of the training, you can expect a great program including yoga, meditation, deep relaxation and much more. in the ideal setting. Extensive forest and park areas, cozy lounges, a quiet monastery, organic vegetarian/vegan cuisine, as well as guided walks, hikes, Nordic walking, kirtan singing, and sound meditations. Wellness in the Ayurveda oasis, in the sauna or while swimming is available upon request.
Training content of the Mantra Meditation Instructor Training:
- Various mantra meditation techniques and their effects:
- simple, combined, intentionless, concrete, abstract mantra meditation
- Mantra meditation in connection with chakras
- Mantra meditation with visualization of the respective aspect of God
- Mantra meditation to strengthen and develop certain qualities
- The 6-step mantra meditation (Rishi-Matra-Bija-Ishta Devata-Shakti-Kilaka): Within a meditation, one meditates on the 6 aspects of a mantra.
Each element of the 6-step mantra meditation can also serve as a standalone meditation:
- Rishi Mantra Meditation: Mantra repetition with concentration on the master.
- Matra Mantra Meditation: Mantra repetition with special concentration on the sound of the mantra.
- Mantra Bija Meditation: Repeating the mantra with the awareness that it leads to the essence of life, to the divine, to enlightenment.
- Ishta Devata Mantra Meditation: Repetition of the mantra with devotion to God or with awareness of the meaning of the mantra.
- Mantra Shakti Meditation: Concentration on the mantra with devotion and concentration on the Shakti, the energy awakened by the mantra.
- Mantra Kilaka Meditation
- Mantra acceleration and deceleration: The practitioner accelerates and decelerates the pace of the mantra meditation.
- Murti Tratak with Mantra Meditation: The practitioner looks with open eyes at a Murti, i.e., an image of a god, a figure of a god, or the image of his master, and repeats his mantra.
- God-fantasy journey with mantra and guru-fantasy journey with mantra: The practitioner imagines traveling to a manifestation of God or to their master.

Note: For graduates of the Yoga Vidya Meditation Instructor Course, Yoga Teacher Training or Mantra Meditation Intensive Week, some material will be repetitive. However, the content goes much deeper and you will learn advanced, subtle methods of mantra meditation. This is how you delve deep into the mystery of applied mantra science. At the same time, there is still room for you, your own experiences and your own path. You can also use the week as an intensive personal meditation sadhana and perhaps have profound experiences beyond body and mind awareness. And it's always a good opportunity to get feedback on your teaching – both for those who have never led a group before and for experienced seminar leaders.
Participation requirement: some yoga and meditation experience is an advantage. Genuine interest in mantras and meditation.
Examination/Certificate: “Mantra Meditation Course Instructor (BYVG)”. Practical teaching demonstration in a training setting. Approximately 60 teaching units.
