Description Yoga teacher training
Do you enjoy yoga with children? In this children's yoga training, you will learn to lead yoga classes for children of different ages from 3-12 years. The training to become a children's yoga instructor is particularly interesting for teachers, educators, other pedagogues, club trainers, parents and anyone who wants to teach children's yoga, be it in regular school classes, in kindergarten, in project groups, in clubs, in yoga centers, in fitness studios, etc.
As part of the training, you can expect a great program with yoga, meditation, deep relaxation and much more. in the ideal ambience. Extensive forest and park areas, cozy lounges, a tranquil monastery, organic vegetarian/vegan cuisine, as well as guided walks, hikes, Nordic walking, kirtan singing, and sound meditations. Wellness in the Ayurveda oasis, in the sauna or while swimming on request.
Topics and contents of the children’s yoga training:
- You will learn the basics of yoga, in particular a specific, proven, traditional sequence of yoga exercises, the so-called Yoga Vidya basic series.
- In this training you will learn how to perform these yoga exercises correctly yourself, how to instruct and correct them in a way that is adapted to different age groups.
- Special features when teaching children in general and in yoga classes
- Thorough teaching didactics and methodology
- With many practical children's yoga practice sessions
- Practice in small groups.
We offer the opportunity to assist at children's yoga seminars after the training in order to gain practical experience.
Conditions of participation for the children's yoga training: Independent training for non-yoga teachers. Basic knowledge of yoga and meditation is helpful, but not essential. This children's yoga training is also suitable as further training for yoga teachers who want to specialize in children's yoga. Approx. 168 teaching units.
Examination: The practical presentation hours correspond to the practical examination. This children’s yoga training concludes with a written exam. Certificate: Upon full participation in all parts of the children's yoga training and passing the exam, you will receive the "Children's Yoga Instructor (BYVG)" certificate. Recognized as educational leave in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, and Saarland.
