Yin and Yang are the polar forces of our thinking, breathing, and perception: Yin (giving, passive, receiving, regenerative) and Yang (active, building, expanding, generating heat). On a physical level, Yang-oriented yoga primarily has an appealing effect on the muscles. The Yin principle, on the other hand, refers to tendons, ligaments and fascia. If both forces are balanced in harmony, “something higher” arises, the Tao, the “pearl of wisdom,” yoga.
As part of the training, you can expect a great program with yoga, meditation and deep relaxation in an ideal atmosphere. Idyllically embedded in nature, in the middle of forest, water and meadows. With organic vegetarian/vegan cuisine as well as guided walks, hikes, mantra singing, sound meditations and much more.
In the Yoga Vidya style, both principles combine in an ideal way. In Yin Yoga, you hold the asana meditatively, completely without strength, for about four to ten minutes. In this way, tendons, ligaments and fascia are optimally trained, stimulated and passively stretched. The longer holding time allows you to really relax your muscles deeply. With Yin Yoga you gain strength and increased performance, mobility, relaxation and a good figure. Your prana (life energy) is activated and harmonized. At the same time, Yin Yoga in flow and silence is to be understood as a complement, indeed a condition, for Yang Yoga or activity in general: There is strength in calm. Unlock them!
