Learn how you can combine Ayurveda and Hatha Yoga to form Ayur Yoga. Ayur Yoga integrates Ayurveda and yoga with the aim of bringing people back to their original balance in harmony with their inner and outer nature. Ayur Yoga helps to maintain this harmonious state permanently.
In this training you will gain a proper understanding of the doshas (bio-energies in Ayurveda) and their relationship to yoga asanas, pranayama and meditation.
Contents of the Ayur Yoga training:
- Which yoga exercises are particularly good for which Ayurveda dosha, which ones should be modified and how?
- How do I use specific asanas, pranayama and meditation techniques to harmonize the
doshas?
- How do I adapt the classic Yoga Vidya series to the needs of the participants?
In this Ayur Yoga training you will develop a new, sharpened perception and awareness of the quality of yoga asanas, breathing and movement sequences and patterns in everyday life. You can wonderfully incorporate the new mindful awareness you learned in this Ayur Yoga training into your yoga lessons as well as your Ayurveda consulting practice.
This training is particularly suitable if you:
- Want to offer courses for specific target groups or individual consultations on Ayur Yoga
- want to live your life holistically and healthily
- want to make optimal use of the synergies of yoga and Ayurveda for your own spiritual progress and also advise and convey them to others
- Want to learn more about the similarities and differences between yoga and Ayurveda
The daily routine of the Ayur Yoga training follows the tried and tested Yoga Vidya seminar routine.
The prerequisite for participation in the Ayur Yoga training is yoga teacher or Ayurveda health advisor training. The Ayur Yoga training is also suitable as a yoga teacher and Ayurveda further training.
Approx. 60 teaching units.
Certificate of training: Ayur Yoga teacher (BYVG). Recognized as educational leave in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Saarland.

4.30 p.m. Asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), deep relaxation.
6:00 p.m. Dinner.
8 p.m. actual training begins with meditation, mantra singing, introductions, lecture.

7:00 a.m. - approx. 8:05 a.m. Meditation, mantra singing, short reading
approx. 8:05 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. lecture/workshop
9:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Yoga class with asanas (yoga exercises), pranayama (breathing exercises), deep relaxation
11:00 a.m. Brunch (breakfast/lunch).
Help with work around the house (Karma Yoga, 45 min.), study time, break
2:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Lecture/workshop/yoga class/teaching groups, depending on training
6:00 p.m. Dinner, break
8:00 p.m. - approx. 9:00 p.m. Meditation, mantra singing, lecture

The daily routine follows the tried and tested Yoga Vidya seminar routine. There are minor differences depending on your training. The workshops, lectures, meditations and yoga lessons are largely tailored to the respective training topic.
The prerequisite for the respective certificate is participation in all program items according to the daily routine, including meditation and mantra singing in the morning and evening as well as the yoga classes.
During training, it is not possible to arrive later or leave earlier or miss a day.

Also suitable as a further training seminar for yoga teachers.
Requirements for participation: Yoga teacher qualification + basic knowledge of Ayur or the Ayurveda health advisor qualification.
