in cooperation with Humboldt University
On May 16, 2025, in cooperation with Humboldt University, we are hosting the BERLIN BREATHWORK DAYS for the second time with a LEARNING LAB + PRACTICE SPACES, where we will bring together various leading German and international breathwork facilitators and scientists to explore and experience the status quo and potential of breathwork.
Breathwork is becoming an increasingly popular tool for personal growth, resilience, mental health and is also becoming increasingly relevant in trauma therapy.
Humboldt University is conducting research on various breathwork studies.
An event for all experience levels
"You managed to moderate a respectful conversation in a very convincing way, building bridges between worlds that might otherwise be considered too intellectual, cold, or dry on the one hand, or too intuitive, inexplicable, or traditional on the other."
– Hans Rutrecht (Mind Foundation)
Whether for newcomers or professionals, we have put together a holistic program that combines knowledge and practical experience and connects the community – for more orientation and transparency.
For people who want to learn about or deepen their knowledge of the theory and/or practice of breathwork and techniques !
For our main day, Friday, May 16, we're moving to a larger location this time: the Eden in Pankow, which has three rooms, our "Learning Lab" with two "Experience Spaces." Special day tickets are available for this day.

From May 13-15, we'll be hosting three evening events at The Lovers & Leaders Space in Berlin-Mitte. Some of our talks and breathwork sessions will also be held in English.
Scientifically sound and interdisciplinary
"It's rare for avant-garde figures like the pioneers of the German breathwork movement to exchange ideas about the risks and immense opportunities of breathwork, unprotected and without commercial ulterior motives, as happened at the first Berlin Breathwork Days last week—in other words, with passion and mutual goodwill, as initiator Yasmine Orth desired."
– Kristin Rübesamen, journalist
At Humboldt University in Berlin, several research projects are currently exploring the exciting field of breathwork. The focus is on the transformative potential of breathwork for the treatment of mental illnesses such as depression and trauma —and on potential risks.
Three current studies are scientifically illuminating this complex phenomenon: The RESET study involves clinical interventions with traumatized patients. An international survey is collecting reports from breathwork practitioners around the world.
And in the innovative HEART study , psychotherapists without prior experience were able to experience a guided breathwork journey – followed by reflection on how breathwork can be used in therapeutic practice in the future.
In the Learning Lab of the Berlin Breathwork Days , researchers provide insights into their findings and invite participants to an open exchange – between science, practice, and personal experience.
