Wheelchair Yoga follows a holistic approach, the basic principles of which are the adaptation of the yoga practice to the physical possibilities of the practitioners as well as a mindful approach to the body and one’s own breathing:

  • The focus is on breathing, body awareness and inner peace
  • The basic idea is: Yoga not only strengthens the body, but also promotes mental and emotional balance

Who is wheelchair yoga suitable for?

  • People with chronic pain or tension
