How you can support your local yoga teacher now!

How you can support your local yoga teacher now! - FindeDeinYoga.org

Many people are currently working from home and have a lot of time at home. Yoga classes have not been taking place since last week. This means that we all lose a bit of routine, because leisure activities no longer follow - today is Tuesday and I have my yoga class at 8 p.m., but have to be redesigned and planned every day.

We have put together tips for you on how you can practice yoga alone at home . If you find it difficult to practice alone at home, you have the option of attending yoga online courses. The temptation is to simply resort to a YouTube video or one of the many free offers on the Internet. But there are many good reasons for you to continue practicing online with your local yoga teacher.

1.      Your teacher knows you best! If you have been practicing yoga with your teacher for a long time, then he knows you and your body. He can give you help from memory or directly via the live stream and point out possible misalignments. No YouTube video can replace that.

2.      Your teacher has ongoing costs! With the course fees, your yoga teacher pays the ongoing costs of renting the yoga room and what she needs to live. If your teacher has no further income, then a long dry spell begins immediately that will last until at least the end of April. You can help your teacher by attending and paying for their online courses now. This will ensure that your local yoga course will still be available after Corona.

3.      Your teacher will learn something new for you! Joint yoga classes can no longer take place in the studio but can take place virtually. However, most yoga teachers have never taught yoga classes online. If your teacher starts giving online courses, then he has gathered all his courage to continue to be there for you. From the conviction that yoga is important for you now. So forgive me if everything doesn't go smoothly right away. It is a learning process for all of us. And support your teacher by attending his courses online.

4.       Your chance to meet new yoga teachers! Trying online yoga classes is a great opportunity. You can try out which yoga appeals to you most. And which teacher will best help you find yourself and (back) into your connection with yourself. When the Corona period is over, you can attend a regular course on site and continue practicing with the teacher.

So, let's practice together.
