A sound bowl massage (or sound massage) is a relaxation method in which special sound bowls are placed on or held directly above the clothed body and gently struck. The resulting sound waves are perceived as soothing vibrations that spread throughout the body.

Effects and benefits

The method is based on the assumption that the human body consists largely of water, which is set in motion by the vibrations – similar to a stone being thrown into a pond.

Deep relaxation: Effectively helps reduce stress and promotes inner harmony.
Releasing blockages: Can loosen muscular tension and release mental blockages.
Activation of self-healing powers: The vibrations are intended to stimulate the body to self-cleanse and regenerate.
Improved sleep: Due to its calming effect on the nervous system, it often leads to better sleep.

Feel free to schedule an appointment with me for a KSM / sound bowl massage.

Personal training usually begins with an initial consultation (anamnesis) in which health limitations and personal goals (e.g., stress reduction, flexibility, or back fitness) are discussed.

The process will be completed. Based on this, an individual exercise plan will be created, including breathing exercises, meditation, and targeted assistance. Chair yoga is also possible.

Feel free to schedule a personal yoga training session with me.

Lessons can take place in the yoga studio or at your home, depending on the arrangement.

Also available as a YOGA DUO for two people and as a TUT-GUT-SCHEIN gift voucher.

Practice according to your personal needs and abilities.

I look forward to seeing you.

In contrast to general group teaching, here the focus is entirely on the individual person with their personal medical history and needs.

Application areas & examples

Yoga therapy is frequently used as a complementary therapy, for example in cases of: back pain & tension or blockages in the musculoskeletal system: targeted mobilization of the spine.

Chronic diseases: Relief of symptoms, e.g., in cases of osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, etc., through anti-inflammatory action and promotion of mobility, or prevention of their development.
Stress & Psychological Strain: Help with exhaustion, burnout or hormonal balance.
Rehabilitation: Support after serious illnesses or surgeries.
Yoga physiotherapy combines the millennia-old wisdom of yoga with modern, evidence-based methods of physiotherapy. This combination enables a holistic therapy that alleviates physical ailments and enhances mental well-being.

Key areas and mechanisms
Individual adaptation: Exercises (asanas) are precisely adapted to anatomical requirements and limitations.
Active rehabilitation: Patients learn self-efficacy instead of purely passive treatments.
Holistic approach: Muscles, joints, breathing (Pranayama) and the nervous system are all equally included.
Pain relief: Targeted stretching and strengthening reduce chronic overuse and blockages.
Stress regulation: Breathing techniques activate the parasympathetic nervous system and lower stress levels.

Common areas of application:

Chronic back pain: Restoring mobility and strengthening the core muscles.
Postural problems: Correction of muscular imbalances (e.g., in desk work).
Joint diseases: Gentle strength building for osteoarthritis or after sports injuries.
Neurological disorders: Promoting coordination, balance and body awareness.
Stress-related complaints: Relief from tension headaches and inner restlessness

Important note: In case of acute or serious symptoms, the use of yoga therapy or physiotherapy should always be discussed with a doctor beforehand.

Feel free to arrange an appointment for a private lesson (1:1) with me.
The appointment will take place either at the yoga studio or at your home, by arrangement.
