Chakra training and Kundalini Yoga advanced training

A 5-day workshop on the history, philosophy, and practice of the chakras, Wednesday to Sunday, in Rossatz on the Danube (Austria). Recognized as a 30-hour YACEP continuing education course by the Yoga Alliance for yoga teachers, and also open to interested practitioners.

What it's about

Much of what is said about the chakras today is quite recent. This course goes back to the sources: It traces the chakra teachings from the tantric texts where they are first described to their place in modern Hatha Yoga. This allows us to distinguish between what belongs to the tradition and what was added later.

Contents

• A Brief History of Yoga and Tantra
• Prana, Kosha and Kundalini in traditional texts
• Origin and development of the chakra theory
• The Seven-Chakra Model of the Kubjika Tradition
• Source reading: Sat Chakra Nirupana , Shiva Samhita
• Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha and Meditation, how the texts connect them with the chakras

Daily routine (Wednesday to Sunday)

• 08:00–09:00 Practice
• 09:45–12:15 Theory
• 12:30–13:30 Practice
• 15:00–17:00 Theory (Thursday and Friday)
